Originally built as aprosperous merchants home in 1897, the hotel has been tastefully converted into a 3 star hotel of character. All rooms have ensuite facilities, Satellite & terrestial TV, tea&coffee making facilities, iron board, Broadband internet connection. There are Four Poster ("Honeymoon") suites, four bedded family rooms, 3 Wheel chair accessible disabled bedrooms. There are also Delux doubles and twins.
There are four popular conference/function rooms, catering for numbers from 8 to 120.

The hotel is known locally as "The Weddings Hotel" because of the number of weddings(including ceremoney's as the Hotel is a liscensed Wedding venue)
The hotel is located on the south side of Salisbury on the A3094 next door to the All Saints Parish Church in Harnham.
The surrounding attractions are Stonehenge, Salisbury Cathedral and its world famous Close, Mompesson House, Broadlands, Longleat, Wilton House.
The restaurant serves freshly prepared Modern English/International cusine. Specialising in fresh local ingredients, with a menu that changes daily to reflect the everchanging seasons.
