We are in East Wiltshire and also close to Berkshire in the attractive village of SHALBOURNE. Hungerford and the M4 Motorway junction are 3/5 miles away and we are 9 miles from Marlborough, Newbury and Andover. Our recently restored Grade 2* LISTED HOUSE has early 14th century origins including an intact medieval hall house roof. The Kennet Canal and Savernake Forest are close by with numerous footpaths for very good WALKING.

We stand in our own land and have a new garden and heated swimming pool. We have sown WILDFLOWERS in three fields and maintain footpaths around. We also have geese, chickens and a dog.

Each room has a colour television and basin. Whilst we do not serve evening meals there is the popular village PUB just a 150 metre walk away. We also have a SELF-CATERING HOLIDAY HOME in our old Barn which has one double bedroom with ensuite bathroom upstairs, with sitting room, lobby, fully fitted kitchen, WC downstairs. A SHOP is also in the village 150m away.
